Then they’re lined in melted butter earlier than an expensive roll in cinnamon-spiced sugar. The consequence? A crunchy-sweet exterior matched by a young, moist inside, similar to a doughnut.
Cinnamon-Sugar Doughnut Bites
Makes 12 servings
- ½ cup (110 grams) firmly packed gentle brown sugar

- 1 cup (240 grams) complete buttermilk, room temperature

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Spray a 12-cup muffin pan with cooking spray.

Within the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, beat brown sugar, ¼ cup (50 grams) granulated sugar, and egg at medium pace till lightened in coloration and effectively mixed, 1 to 2 minutes, stopping to scrape sides of bowl. Add ¼ cup (57 grams) melted butter, oil, and vanilla bean paste; beat till effectively mixed, 1 to 2 minutes, stopping to scrape sides of bowl.

In a medium bowl, whisk collectively flour, salt, baking soda, nutmeg, and ¼ teaspoon cinnamon. With mixer on low pace, add flour combination to sugar combination alternately with buttermilk, starting and ending with flour combination, beating simply till mixed after every addition and stopping to scrape sides of bowl.
